¿Cómo va la siembra?

El día miércoles 19 de abril, fuimos al huerto a quitar malas hierbas y a coger habas
y guisantes.
Los mayores arrancamos las malas hierbas y los pequeños cogían las habas y los
guisantes.
Había un montón de hierbas, parecía una selva. Pero al final, no quedó ni una mala
hierba.

A DAY IN THE GARDEN

On Wednesday, 10th of April, we went to the garden to remove weeds and to
pick some beans and peas. There was a lot of bad herbs that looked like
a jungle!

VISITA AL HUERTO

El miércoles 10 de abril, en el huerto estuvimos arrancando matas, cogiendo habas,
guisantes para el viernes poder probarla en la fiesta de fin de trimestre. En el bancal
profundo crecieron antes las plantas, pero fuera del bancal no habían crecido tanto
y no pudimos coger tantas habas y guisantes.

VISIT TO THE GARDEN

On Wednesday 10th of April, in the school garden we were picking up bushes,
beans and peas for Friday 12th. To taste them at the end of the term. In the deep
bench the plants grew before,but outside the bench, they didn’t grow so
much and we couldn’t pick up many beans and peas.

El día 10 de abril fuimos al huerto a coger habas y guisantes para comerlas el
viernes 12 de abril.
También quitamos las malas hierbas para que no crecieran tanto y les
quitamos la raíz para que no crecieran otra vez.

On April 10th, we went to the school garden to pick beans and peas to
eat on April 12th.
We also removed the weeds so that they didn’t grow so mucha and we took
the root from them,so they wouldn’t grow again.
